In East Cobb, you will find walkable neighborhoods cloistered within close-knit communities. Amenities like shopping, restaurants, and parks are never far. The area is currently unincorporated, and began gaining traction as a popular Atlanta suburb in the 1960’s. It is now home to approximately 150,000 residents. Marietta is located just west of East Cobb and boasts its own cityhood and historic district. Several college campuses reside in Marietta, including Southern Polytechnic State University, Life University (specializing in chiropractic medicine and health science), and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
